The Mission of the Church

“Master, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, as thyself.

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matt. 22:36-40

To define what ministries each local
church needs to reach the goals of the
church.
1. These ministries are defined by:
a. The direction that God leads the
church.
b. The gifts He provides to the church.

2. Teach the Word of God. Matt. 28:18-20

Cornerstone Christian Church of Jacksonville is committed to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This commitment is to live the mission that He gave to the church according to scriptures. Cornerstone Christian Church is a Bible believing, and Bible teaching church. We believe that the Word of God given to us by the bible and it is the guide of how the church is to live, work, and behave. The mission, goals, and objectives listed are blueprints to His Glory. Of every building blueprint there is a cornerstone. The underlining work of the church is to plant and water the seed of God’s Word. This journey is our path to righteousness for his name’s sake.
